Is an appointment necessary for animal emergency services?

The Animal Emergency Medical Center accepts animals with life threatening emergencies without appointment during our hours of operation. We do, however, recommend a call ahead to let us know you are in route. Once arriving at our center, all animals are immediately evaluated by a triage nurse. This evaluation will formally establish the scheduling of care for animals in our admissions area. In addition, we will attempt to schedule appointments for non-life threatening emergencies to limit your wait once arriving at our center. Please note that on occasion, a waiting period can occur as a result of our case load. In these times, your patience is greatly appreciated.

What are your fees for animal emergency services?

The emergency exam fee covers the cost of the physical examination. If diagnostic tests, hospitalization, surgical procedures and/or medications are recommended, you will be provided with an estimate of additional costs involved. A deposit is required for all admitted animals and the balance is due at time of discharge. We accept cash, credit cards or personal checks.
